1Accepting and changing these terms

When we change these terms we will publish them on this page and update the date. If you keep using Wahouse after that, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

2What we provide

Wahouse is a rental property management tool: a property register, tenants and leases, amounts due and recorded income and expenses, due-date and overdue reminders, maintenance orders, documents, yield analysis and annual reports, for both Chinese and Japanese conventions.

3Your account

• You can sign in with an e-mail code or with Google, Apple, LINE and similar services.
• Keep your device and e-mail secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• Your account is for you only; you may not lend, transfer or sell it.

4Your content

The properties, leases, records, photos and files you enter belong to you. You allow us to store, process and display them in order to provide the service. We claim no rights over them and do not use them for anything other than providing the service.

5Information about tenants and others

• When you enter information about tenants, guarantors, emergency contacts or others, you must have informed them and obtained any consent required by law, and you are responsible for that information being lawful.
• Enter only what you need to manage the tenancy; do not enter unrelated sensitive information.
• Do not enter My Number (Japanese individual numbers).

6Acceptable use

You may not use Wahouse for anything unlawful, impersonate others or misuse their information, interfere with or damage the service or try to get around its security, reverse-engineer it, or scrape data in bulk by automated means.

7Figures are for reference only — please read

Yields, cash flow, annual reports, Japanese blue-return account lines, depreciation, business-scale tests and similar figures are mechanical calculations based on the data you enter. They are not tax, legal or investment advice. Tax rules change, and special rules may apply to your situation. Have a tax accountant or yourself check them before you file.

8Limits of reminders

Push notifications and reminders can be delayed or not delivered because of your notification settings, network conditions or outages at third-party push services. Do not rely on Wahouse reminders alone — check important payment dates yourself.

9Fees

Wahouse is currently free. If we introduce charges in the future we will tell you in advance, and we will never charge you without your agreement.

10Changes, interruptions and termination

• We may add or change features, and may suspend the service for maintenance, outages or events beyond our control.
• If you breach these terms, we may restrict or terminate your account.
• You can delete your account at any time; your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and on the account-deletion page.

11Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from using or being unable to use Wahouse (including loss caused by calculation results, delayed reminders or lost data). We recommend exporting important data regularly.

12Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith; if it cannot be resolved, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
